History

The vision of five individuals came together to establish Key Logo in the spring of 1995.

With the support of the Hartford Area Development Corporation and local banks, Key Logo obtained 2500 square feet of production space in the Hartford Innovation Center. In 2007, Key Logo purchased the entire 40,000 square foot building from the HADC.

Key Logo’s constant growth has been fueled by the strong partnerships with loyal customers and their continued business.

Timeline to display the growth of Key Logo:

1995 - Operations began with an embroidery machine and a manual t-shirt press along with 5 full time employees

1996 - First automatic screening printing press and a gas dryer

1997- 15 head embroidery machine and an 8 color automatic press were added

1999 – Purchased 6 head embroidery machine, another manual press and two more dryers

2005 – Brand new 15 head embroidery machine and 9 color automatic press along with a Brother digital printer for white garments

2006 – Integrated a new operating system for order entry, status, billing

2007 – Purchased the Hartford Innovation Center from the HADC

2009 – Added a brand new 8 color automatic press

2010 – 1 head and 12 head embroidery machines purchased new from Barudan along with a Brother digital printer for colored garments

2011 – 6 head embroidery machine was acquired new from the factory as well as an Ioline cutter system, Dye Sublimation printer and digital decal printer and a new dryer

2012 – Latest addition is a new 9 color automatic press and gas dryer as well as another new 6 head embroidery machine joined the fleet
